写真が初めてでも、安心して任せてください
松本で撮影を始めて10年。カメラマンとしては20年になります。
帰国後は雑誌やグラビアの現場で、限られた時間と条件の中で撮ってきました。手順どおりに進む現場のほうが少なく、そのつど「この人をどう撮るか」を考える仕事でした。
同じ場所でも、日によって光は違います。その日の条件とお二人の様子を見ながら決めていく。今の撮影も、そこは変わりません。
ポーズが分からなくても大丈夫です。こちらから声をかけながら進めます。
衣装やセットは、一組ごとにご希望を伺いながら一緒に選びます。イメージが決まっていても、まだ何も決まっていなくても、どちらでも構いません。
はじまりは、アメリカでした
父が風景写真家なので、カメラは子どもの頃から身近にありました。
本格的にのめり込んだのは、アメリカの田舎町で過ごした大学時代です。知らない文化と人に囲まれて、毎日が発見の連続でした。この瞬間を残したい、伝えたい。そう思って報道写真（フォトジャーナリズム）を学びました。
在学中はアメリカ人の学生に混ざってカメラマンとして活動し、卒業時に Outstanding Photography Student（写真分野で最も優秀な学生）に選ばれました。
赤ちゃんの撮影について
ニューボーンフォトに出会ったのも留学中でした。本場の赤ちゃん写真の美しさに驚いて、日本でも広めたいと思ったことが、今の活動の原点です。
8年前から助産師さんと連携し、赤ちゃんとご家族が安心して過ごせる環境づくりを大切にしています。
私自身も2児の母です。子どもと過ごす時間が過ぎていく速さも、家族写真のありがたさも、日々感じています。

Hi, I'm Midori Sasaki — a photographer based in Matsumoto, Nagano.
I run a small private studio called studio m's, where I mainly shoot bridal portraits, maternity, and newborn sessions.
Photography has always been close to me, thanks to my father, who was a landscape photographer.
But it was during my college years in a small town in the U.S. that I truly fell in love with taking pictures.
I studied photojournalism at the University of Central Oklahoma and worked as a photographer on campus alongside American students. When I graduated in 2006, I received the Outstanding Photography Student Award, given to the top student in the photography field that year.
After returning to Japan, I worked as a professional photographer for magazines, gravure, and printing companies. Shooting in fast-paced environments taught me how to adapt to each situation and photograph people in a way that feels right for them.
Now I focus on life's milestones — weddings, babies, and families. I first discovered newborn photography in the U.S., and for the past eight years I have worked closely with midwives here in Japan to keep sessions safe and calm.
I mostly use studio lighting to create soft but polished images, so the results do not depend on the weather.
We choose outfits and setups together, whether you have a clear vision or none at all.
